The doors can be opened to the patio (small garden) Especially when the weather is beautiful is this an unexpected extra facility. Like room Laurean, also room Nyaki looks like a tiny "trailer" in the environment of the house. The room has a big double bed (1.60 by 2.00 m.) (if required: two single beds) which is comfortable made up with clean sheets, two sleeping pillows each and extra pillows for putting behind you, when you want to rest and/or watch TV. In the room are two internet connection cables. Wireless internet is also available. You only need to bring your own laptop or I-Phone. The kitchenette in the room is equipped with a two burner gas stove, fridge, coffee machine, pizza toaster, microwave and  cooking facilities. Only the cupboards have a rather big size and for the rest the room is compactly built, using nearly every square inch. However, on the other hand, the comfortable double bed is made up with clean sheets and two pillows each. From the bed you can watch TV, enjoy the skylight and jump into the mini-mini shower/toilet, which is built ensuite. The fitted washstand is equipped with hot and cold water, a hairdryer and two towels  are provided for each person. The internet connection wire in the room makes it possible to use your laptop. Since March 2010 the room has been "expanded" a bit and now there is also a fridge, microwave, pizza toaster and a coffee maker in the room. Coffee, milk and sugar are provided in the price. In the night it is quiet and in the morning you wake up with whistling birds, which you can see threw the skylight,  flying over from the Vondelpark. They both are hostesses on their own locations in Amsterdam, which are about 10 minutes walking from each other. The B&B’s are located very next to the City Centre of Amsterdam, in the quiet area of Oud-West, which is situated next to the famous Vondelpark, Leidseplein and Museumplein. You can reach the van Goghmuseum and Rijksmuseum (Nightwatch) in 20-25 minutes walking threw the Vondelpark from both B&B locations. From Schiphol Airport you can reach these "Homes in Amsterdam" within 35 minutes and after dropping your luggage it is possible to continue your public transport ride by tram 1 into the Centre in about 20 minutes. Both hostesses developed a preference for young people, students and/or low budget travelers. Annette as well as Nyaki like to be able to feel free in their own way of living and they like the guests to feel in the same way, too. They will try to do as much as they can to be at your service. The rooms are always rented out without the breakfast, because at both locations there is a possibility to have a served breakfast next door.
